The last place I had a chance to visit at Doors Open Denver was the Equitable building, and it was well worth the wait. The interior of the building is decorated with intricate hand-laid tile work, marble accents throughout, a classic use of arches, and stained glass windows in the hallway and in this ornate stair-case. No single photo can do justice to the beauty of the interior, but this is an attempt to capture the elements that make this building special.

The image was taken after the first morning service. Because the interior of the Church is so vast, the bells are used as a focal point.

Angles keep watch over the Perrenoud’s atrium. Beautiful Stained glass casts a wonderful light over the rich interior.

Taken on day 2 of Doors Open Denver, this shot plays with the the plumbline sculpture in the atrium of the Wellington Webb Building and the sunlight flowing through it.
